SRC were delighted to welcome Infrastructure Minister to our Newry campus for a Fireside Chat Event. The event, organised by Newry Chamber, allowed local businesses the opportunity to discuss the need to tackle the region’s infrastructure deficit and its impact on growth and economic and social development.
During discussions, Minister O’Dowd and his Departmental officials engaged with Chamber Corporate Patrons and Members on topics including:
- Newry Flood Alleviation Scheme
- Upgrading Newry’s Water Treatment Capacity at Greenbank
- Upgrading the Water & Sewerage Network
- Southern Relief Road
- Road Network Upgrade
- Improvements to the Planning System in NI
