Last week SRC and Banbridge District Enterprises teamed up for a fun and informative Food & Drink Peer Session focused on food labelling. Emma Lyttle and Lydia Reilly, Food innovation Specialist from SRC, led the discussion, diving into what manufacturers need to know about both voluntary and mandatory food labelling.

The main session covered the essentials of food labelling, helping everyone understand the rules and best practices. After that, we rolled up our sleeves for a hands-on workshop where attendees could bring in their current labels or recipes. This was a great chance for everyone to get direct feedback and advice on how to make sure their labels are compliant with the latest regulations.
