The Level 2 Diploma in Creative Arts and Digital Technologies students had the pleasure of attending The Market Place Theatre & Arts Centre, Armagh for 'Vallely at 80' - a major retrospective by international and award-winning artist JB Vallely!
Creative Arts & Digital Technologies students had the pleasure of meeting renowned artist, JB Vallely at the 'Vallely at 80' exhibition.
The exhibition showcased drawings and oil paintings spanning almost 63 years, as well as some of his new work completed during his 80th year, depicting Valley’s passion for Irish themes, including music, sport, mythology, history and culture.
The students have been studying his work for their Design Project unit and will now use him as an influence in their own final artwork. During their visit, the students were fortunate to meet Mr Vallely!
