Overview

The Word ICDL Modular Advanced Level 3 course is designed for individuals seeking to enhance their proficiency in Microsoft Word. This advanced programme focuses on sophisticated features and techniques, empowering participants to create professional documents with advanced formatting, automation, and collaboration capabilities.

Participants will learn how to create long and complex documents that include advanced elements such as reference tables, graphs, links, or forms.

After passing this module, candidates will also feel confident managing and collaborating on documents with others. They will be able to:

Work collaboratively with others to securely create and review documents.
Recognise good practice in design and the importance of consistent formatting and styling.
Know how to create a structure and apply the correct formatting to the elements on the page.
Understand the importance of referencing and how to include it.
Know how to enhance documents with automation and dynamic information.

There are no formal entry requirements but candidates should have a good knowledge of the basic package as this module will not cover those and goes into the more advanced levels/details.

Assessment is via on online assignment at the end of the course.

Students may wish to enrol on other level 3 ICDL modules such as Excel.
