The Vehicle Accident Repair Paint Principles Level 3 Diploma Apprenticeship is designed to provide aspiring professionals in the automotive industry with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in vehicle accident repair and paintwork. This course offers a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in the field of vehicle repair to develop their technical expertise and gain hands-on experience in restoring damaged vehicles to their original appearance.
Students will study both the theory and practical aspects of the subject through the completion of specialist units. They will gain a broad knowledge and understanding of colour theory. Practical activities are completed in fully resourced workshops led by highly competent and qualified staff.
Throughout the apprenticeship, participants will engage in a wide range of activities related to vehicle accident repair painting, including surface preparation, colour matching, paint application, and refinishing techniques. They will learn about different paint systems, equipment, materials, and safety regulations.
The course provides vocationally related knowledge and skills, which will improve employability within these vocations. Successful completion of units or the full award can contribute to the achievement of a VCQ when employed.
