Overview
The Site Carpentry (Construction) Level 3 Diploma Apprenticeship is a comprehensive programme designed to provide aspiring carpenters with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the construction industry. This course offers a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in the field of carpentry to develop their technical expertise and gain hands-on experience in creating and installing wooden structures and components on construction sites.
The Level 3 Apprenticeship has been developed so learners can achieve the qualification in a training environment, which means that they do not need to be employed to undertake this qualification.
Throughout the apprenticeship, participants will engage in a wide range of activities related to site carpentry, including interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting timber, constructing frameworks, installing doors and windows, and compliance with safety regulations. They will learn about different types of timber, tools, and techniques used in the construction industry.
