Overview

Psychology is applied to many aspects of life - sports teams, the police, schools, businesses and the media all utilise psychological theory to improve performance, solve crime and understand behaviour. The Psychology A-Level will equip learners with the skills and knowledge to decode human behaviour in everyday life. They can expect to develop an understanding of different areas of psychology such as cognition, child development, social psychology and individual differences. Students will also learn how topical issues, such as eyewitness testimony, the media and stress, can be better understood and managed by looking at them from a psychological perspective.
