Fintech is an emerging and dynamic industry across the UK and Ireland. This course aims to integrate both financial services and technology to improve the user experience and address the skills gap which currently exists. This innovative programme is available part-time and includes a diverse range of modules from across the College's Faculty of Professional Services and Faculty of Computing, Design and Academic Studies.

Throughout the course, students will explore the core principles and practices of fintech. Students will study subjects such as financial systems and markets, blockchain technology, data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital payments, cybersecurity, and regulatory frameworks. Students will gain insights into the latest trends, technologies, and disruptions shaping the financial landscape.

The programme also covers the broader context in which fintech operates. Students will study subjects such as financial inclusion, sustainable finance, open banking, and the ethical implications of fintech. They will explore the social and economic impact of fintech on individuals, businesses, and society as a whole. Students will also develop an understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks governing fintech, including data protection and privacy laws.
