Overview

This is an English course for speakers of other languages (ESOL) to improve confidence and develop skills in communicating in social situations.

In this module learners will get the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to be able to communicate verbally. It will also help learners engage in conversations for different purposes and in different contexts such as in everyday life, in the workplace, and in your place of study.

: This level is suitable for those who have not studied English formally before and have little, if any, knowledge of the language.

Please note you may be required to take a short assessment before enrolling on the course.

: All three Entry 1 modules (Reading, Speaking & Listening and Writing) need to be completed before progression to ESOL Entry Level 2.
