The Engineering Level 2 Diploma Apprenticeship is tailored to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in the field of engineering. This apprenticeship offers a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in various engineering disciplines to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in engineering principles and practices.
Throughout the apprenticeship, participants will learn the fundamental principles of engineering, including interpreting technical drawings, selecting and using engineering materials, and applying engineering techniques. They will gain an understanding of different engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, and the basic principles that underpin each area.
The Level 2 Apprenticeship combines practical training with theoretical study to provide a comprehensive educational experience. Apprentices will work under the guidance of experienced engineers, learning to use engineering tools and equipment, perform basic engineering calculations and apply engineering principles to practical projects. Apprentices will develop proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, measurement instruments and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
