Overview

This course will enable learners to gain a recognised qualification to work as an electrician; installing systems and equipment in buildings, structures and the environment within the electrotechnical industry. This course offers a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in electrical systems to develop their technical expertise and gain hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems in various settings.

Applicants should have good practical hand skills, an eye for detail and be able to work well as part of a team.

Throughout the apprenticeship, participants will engage in a wide range of activities related to electrical installation, including electrical wiring, circuit design, testing and inspection, fault diagnosis, and compliance with safety regulations. They will learn about electrical principles, wiring regulations, electrical components, and energy efficiency considerations.
