Fancy something sweet! From new twists, to old favourites and classics. Come along and learn how to make mouth watering delicious pastries and puddings to complete your dining experience!
The Cookery - Pastries and Puddings Recreational will take participants on a journey into the sweet and indulgent world of pastries and puddings. This recreational course offers hands-on experience in creating a wide variety of delectable treats, from flaky pastries to creamy puddings, allowing participants to develop their baking skills and discover the art of dessert making.
Throughout the course, participants will explore the techniques and principles behind creating mouth-watering pastries and puddings. They will learn about the different types of dough, such as puff pastry, shortcrust pastry, and choux pastry, and discover how to achieve the perfect texture and consistency. They will also delve into the world of puddings, including custards, mousses, and creamy desserts, and learn how to balance flavours and achieve a luxurious texture.
Each week students will be given a list of ingredients to bring to class the following week.
