Overview

This programme will assist learners to revolutionise the way they design, construct, and manage buildings, Students will be immersed in the cutting-edge world of Building Information Modelling (BIM) with our Level 4 Certificate course.

This programme has been designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to effectively collaborate with others using building information models. In addition, the learner will gain knowledge and skills relating to information management. This 30-week part-time course is will help learners master the art of collaboration in the digital age of construction. They will learn how to harness the power of BIM to streamline projects, reduce errors, and create stunning, efficient buildings that stand the test of time.

Applicants must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have an understanding and appreciation of the construction sector, including construction techniques CAD or 3D modelling experience is preferred.
Be able to interpret construction information.

Collaboration in Building Information Management

Learners will be continuously assessed throughout the duration of the course. Assessment will be through a mix of hands-on project work, individual assessments and practical software assessments.

Completing this certificate is just the beginning! Successful students will be perfectly positioned to pursue advanced qualifications such as Higher National Diplomas, Foundation Degrees or Bachelor's Degrees in Construction related disciplines.

With this Level 4 Certificate under your belt, you'll be primed for exciting roles such as BIM Coordinator, Digital Construction Specialist, Collaborative Design Manager or Construction Project Planner
