Overview
The aim of the the Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 Traineeship is to develop a broad base of wood working skills and practical techniques. It aims to enable learners to gain skills and knowledge relating to first and second fix carpentry techniques, health, safety and welfare in wood occupations, interpreting construction drawings, maintaining and using woodworking hand and power tools setting, marking out and manufacture of joinery products, understanding construction methods setting, and operating CNC machines.
This course offers a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in woodworking, construction techniques, and building maintenance.
The Level 2 Traineeship combines practical training with theoretical study to provide a comprehensive educational experience. They will develop proficiency in using a range of tools and equipment, such as saws, chisels, planes, drills, and routers.
