Overview

This course offers exploration of a diverse range of techniques and materials, including drawing and painting from various sources such as observation, memory, imagination, sketchbook material, or photographs.

Designed to accommodate students of different skill levels, from beginners to more experienced artists, this course takes place in a welcoming studio environment. It provides an excellent opportunity for participants to develop their skills as well-rounded art practitioners, while also enjoying the social aspect of the course.

Students should be prepared for the class and bring a selection of brushes and media that they choose to work in.
: Participants will have the chance to work with charcoals, pastels, water-based media, and oil paints. The course also covers colour theory and practice, with a combination of projects, exercises, individual study projects, and advisory sessions.
